About

I graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a First Class Honours degree in Design, specialising in Jewellery. I received a start-up award from The Scottish Arts Council to support the early years of my business, followed by a further development grant in 2006. In 2000, I published Teach Yourself Jewellery Making with Hodder & Stoughton, a book introducing the essential techniques of the craft.

Over the years, I’ve designed, taught and exhibited around the world, and my jewellery has been sold through Selfridges, Sotheby’s and The Victoria & Albert Museum shop. Eventually, I decided it was time to create a space of my own, and opened my first premises on The Shambles in Malton, North Yorkshire.

Six years on, now in larger premises, the shop is thriving. It has grown into a vibrant, welcoming space with an eclectic mix of beautifully curated products, all hand-picked for the discerning customer and reflective of my passion for craftsmanship, quality and thoughtful design.
